Picsel Technologies Appoints Carlos Arteaga as Sr. VP Products

Picsel Technologies, a dynamic mobile platform provider whose pioneering solutions bring content on mobile to life, today announced the appointment of Carlos Arteaga as Senior Vice President of Products, to lead the company’s research and development strategy and define its future product roadmap.

Formerly VP Engineering at enterprise mobility specialist, Sybase, Inc., where he was responsible for leading the development of mobile devices, RFID and sensor networks products, Arteaga has over fifteen years’ experience as a technology executive.

Arteaga brings to Picsel a wealth of product architecture, implementation and market introduction experience in the mobile and embedded space, having also previously held several CTO and Chief Software Architect positions with Telxon Corporation and ERP Systems. Arteaga is a well-known figure, speaking frequently at leading industry events on mobility and sensor networks technology.
